The Sun Archive
A Resource for Spiritual Discovery & Inquiry
This page includes free PDFs, books, and articles from various authors related to spiritual studies, philosophical research, and psychology. It is an evolving page. It includes some works by Anthroposophical founders and contributors, theosophical researchers, authors from the early 20th century who wrote works which hard to come by about life after death (i.e. "Letters from Christopher"). Most of Dr. Rudolf Steiner's lectures and books are available in English and available for free at the Rudolf Steiner Archives at www.rsarchive.org
The digital files below are in a PDF format via other resources found on the internet who offer free downloads.
The author here did not publish or edit works found from other sources. Thus, and as I have noticed, there are instances where conversions to a digital format led to some formatting issues and even some grammatical errors here and there. Some of the antiquarian books below were scanned by the site owner manually (Turginieff and Langen for example).
At the bottom of this page, is a section of Archival Research done by the author of this website for books and articles. Some of these files contain information that is historical, and can serve other researchers well as they could only be completed by physically visiting city archives and libraries.
There are many websites for information on Anthroposophy related topics on the internet including but not limited to:

Dr. Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925)

Dr. Walter Johannes Stein (1891-1957) & Trevor Ravenscroft
Books written by W.J. Stein, early member of the Anthroposophical Society, include The Ninth Century: World History in the Light of the Holy Grail, The Death of Merlin: Arthurian Myth and Alchemy, and The British, Their Psychology and Destiny. The Spear of Destiny by Trevor Ravenscroft is included in this section as the W.J. Stein is a primary topic in that work.

Dr. Ita Wegman (1876-1943)
Dr. Ita Wegman was one of the early founders of Anthroposophy and the field medical research and health. This is a hard to find work, for whatever reason, in English on the Archangel Michael written by Dr. Wegman. Dr. Wegman's published works are available online including amazon.

Friedrich Hiebel (1903-1989)
Mr. Hiebel published several works over the course of his life as an early Anthroposophist. The Gospel of Hellas is an out of print work that is an exceptional and well constructed study of the origins and evolution of the Greek spiritual-cultural stream.

Willi Sucher, Astrosophy (1902-1985)
Dr. Ita Wegman was one of the early founders of Anthroposophy and the field medical research and health. This is a hard to find work, for whatever reason, in English on the Archangel Michael written by Dr. Wegman. Dr. Wegman's published works are available online including amazon.

*Note: This Essay by William Melton was written in 1950 based on original letters from the brother of Col. Robert Alexander Smith, C.S.A. who died at the Battle of Munfordville in 1862. His brother, James Smith, founded Smith and Wellstood Foundry in Scotland and the two brothers ran a successful mercantile shop in Jackson, MS until the American Civil War began in 1861. I have only located one copy of this rare and interesting essay from the archives in Jackson, MS. and describes the sentiments of certain supporters of the confederacy who opposed slavery.
